DevSecOps Lead – Secure Cloud & Platform Engineering

Build security into modern software delivery

At Regent, within our Quality and DevOps domain, we help organizations build secure, scalable and reliable systems. We are now looking for a DevSecOps Lead who wants to drive how security is integrated into modern development and delivery pipelines.

This role focuses on embedding security into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and development workflows – not as a separate activity, but as a natural part of engineering.

What you will do

As a consultant, you will work in complex environments with multiple teams, systems and stakeholders.

Typical responsibilities include:

Defining and driving DevSecOps strategies across teams and organizations
Integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Implementing secure-by-design principles in cloud and platform architectures
Leading initiatives around application security, container security and cloud security
Establishing and improving security controls, policies and compliance practices
Supporting teams in secure coding, threat modeling and risk management
Collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, architects and security stakeholders

You will often act as a bridge between security and engineering, ensuring that security enables rather than blocks delivery.

Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
Containers and orchestration: Docker / Kubernetes
CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation
Security tooling:
- SAST / DAST
- Container scanning
- Dependency scanning
- Secrets management

Experience with standards and frameworks such as OWASP, ISO 27001 or NIST is a plus.

We think you have

Several years of experience in DevOps, security or cloud engineering
Experience leading or driving DevSecOps initiatives
Strong understanding of cloud security and modern architectures
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence ways of working

Experience from large-scale environments with multiple systems and integrations is highly valuable.
