Test Lead – Large-Scale Systems & Quality Leadership
Lead quality in complex, large-scale delivery environments
At Regent, within our Quality domain, we focus on test, automation and modern delivery practices. We are now looking for a Test Lead who thrives in complex environments and wants to take a leading role in driving quality across large-scale systems.
This is not a traditional coordination role. We are looking for someone who can lead quality across multiple teams, systems and stakeholders, ensuring that testing and quality engineering scale with the complexity of modern software delivery.
What you will do
As a consultant, you will work closely with one of our clients in environments characterized by:
- Multiple development teams
- Complex system landscapes
- Integrations across several platforms
- External vendors and stakeholders
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and driving test strategies at program or product level
- Leading and coordinating test efforts across teams and suppliers
- Establishing and improving quality processes and governance
- Ensuring quality in end-to-end flows across integrated systems
- Driving alignment between development, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders
- Following up on quality metrics, risks and release readiness
Depending on the assignment, you may also contribute hands-on within test or automation.
Your profile
We believe you are a senior professional with a strong ability to lead in complex environments.
You:
- Have extensive experience as a Test Lead or Quality Lead in large-scale projects
- Are comfortable working across multiple teams, systems and organizations
- Have experience managing integrations between complex systems
- Are used to working with external vendors and distributed teams
- Have a strong ability to plan, follow up and communicate at different levels
- Are confident in driving quality discussions with both technical teams and stakeholders
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting teams in improving their way of working
- Are structured, responsible and quality-driven
Technical and methodological experience
You have practical experience with many of the following:
- Agile frameworks such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFe
- Tools like Jira, Azure DevOps or similar
- Test management tools such as Xray / Zephyr or equivalent
- Writing, maintaining and executing test cases
- Knowledge of test automation on all test levels
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices
Certification such as ISTQB is considered a plus.
