Job as Quality Engineer – Test Automation - IT consultant Stockholm

Build quality into modern software delivery

We help product teams build reliable systems and release software faster.
Now we’re looking for a Quality Engineer who enjoys improving quality through automation, modern tooling and close collaboration with developers.

In this role you will work with test automation, CI/CD and modern architectures, helping teams move from manual testing and slow releases to fully automated quality in the delivery pipeline.

What you will do

As a consultant you will typically work in cross-functional product teams where quality is part of the development workflow.

Examples of what you may work with:

• Designing and implementing test automation frameworks

• Building end-to-end and API tests

• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Improving testability and quality practices in development teams

• Supporting teams in adopting modern test strategies

• Working with systems built on microservices and cloud platforms

Assignments typically involve close collaboration with developers, DevOps engineers and product teams.

Typical technology stack

Our consultants often work with technologies such as:

• Playwright or Cypress

• TypeScript / JavaScript

• REST APIs and API testing

• GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps

• Docker

• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

You do not need experience with every tool listed above, but experience with modern test automation and coding is important.

We think you have

• Several years of experience in software testing or test automation

• Experience writing automated tests using a modern framework

• Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java or C#

• Experience working in Agile development teams

• Interest in improving quality practices across the development lifecycle

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms or microservices architectures is a strong plus.
